"I saw a side of Joe Dolan I didn't know existed!"

"I watched a programme called Nationwide last night," Sean says. "It was a few years ago, and Joe Dolan was the guest presenter. He was talking about how he started in showbusiness, and talking about Mullingar. I saw a side of Joe Dolan that I didn't know existed. He was a very funny man, very witty. There he was, one of the biggest names in showbands in Ireland, and he didn't take it seriously. I met Joe Dolan once, with Gerry Anderson at a golf thing, a pro-am thing. We met Joe. But unfortunately that night, Joe didn't remember meeting anyone."
