Play on middle Sunday was introduced at Wimbledon for the first time last year with great success and was headlined by a sensational battle between young stars Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. Italy’s Sinner came through an epic four-set battle against the highly rated Spaniard to book his place in the quarter-finals.
