Manchester City meet local rivals Manchester United in a blockbuster contest at Wembley as football’s oldest cup competition reaches its exhilarating climax.

The two Manchester clubs have met 188 times in all competitions but never before in an FA Cup final.

City have won the competition most recently, lifting the trophy for a sixth time after defeating Watford four years ago. United have won the FA Cup 12 times – a tally bettered only by Arsenal’s 13 – with their last triumph coming against Crystal Palace in 2016.
