On the Road in South Africa

Stephen Sackur is in South Africa for a special edition of HARDtalk on the Road. Back in 1994, the overwhelming emotion in this country was hope. The racist apartheid regime had been toppled. The new power in this land was the African National Congress, promising to deliver a better life for all South Africans. Three decades on and the party of Nelson Mandela is facing a painful reckoning.
