Skye's Royal Visitor

Officers on Skye struggle to keep a royal visit from the future king under wraps. With all officers on Skye enlisted to help the visit go smoothly, once the royal couple arrive, it’s the job of Sgt Gordon Gray to manage crowd control, along with any other calls which come in across the island.

A man has been reported missing by his employer after failing to return after the weekend. Searching the area, officers find his car and enlist a mountain search team. Raised in the area, Sgt Steve Cooper knows all of its nooks and crannies, leading him to search an abandoned property.

Elsewhere, roads officers are on the trail of a speeding van, which they pursue at speed until they eventually catch up, recognising the driver as a wealthy local landowner.

In Kyle of Localsh, the local shinty team are given a police escort into town. They are wanted for good behaviour, having won the prestigious Camanachd Cup for the first time in the club’s history. However, despite the celebrations, Sgt Donnie is still on the clock and takes the opportunity to remind the young revellers to avoid drink-driving.
