Rose in Wexford always went to Dublin to see the parade on St Patrick’s Day. When they got home the dinner was mashed potatoes, cabbage & corned beef.

Iris in Ballyclare doesn't need any sauce on her stew. She believes if the stew is well cooked and has a good flavour it doesn’t need it.

Patsy Webster in Little Sutton has given up all hope of Sean playing Martha Devine for her so she has asked for a hessian bag instead.
