In the three years since LA-based singer Lady Blackbird (Marley Munroe) released her debut single Blackbird, a cover of Nina Simone's civil right anthem, she's been dubbed 'the Grace Jones of jazz' and been favourably compared to greats such as Billie Holiday and Chaka Khan, but with a style and sound of her own that fuses jazz, soul, gospel and funk.

Since the realease of her debut album Black Acid Soul in 2021, her career and reputation have continued to grow way beyond the confines of the jazz scene with a voice that commands attention.

Her Piano Room set features Woman, Feel It Comin' and her cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' classic blues ballad I Put a Spell On You.
