Local politicians have met BBC management in London over proposed cuts to Radio Foyle.
The proposals are part of a wider plan to close 36 posts across BBC Northern Ireland, and would see the award winning Breakfast Show and local news and sport bulletins end in March.
The Mayor of Derry and Strabane, Sandra Duffy, the SDLP MP for Foyle, Colum Eastwood, and the DUP MP for East Londonderry, Gregory Campbell, all met BBC NI Interim Director, Adam Smyth, and Rhodri Talfan Davies who's Director of Nations.
