Nicola Heywood Thomas sits down with Author and Emeritus Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of East London, Maggie Humm, to discuss her latest book, ‘Radical Women’, a romance novel based on the Welsh artist Gwen John’s tumultuous affair with the French sculptor Auguste Rodin.

We also hear from Ceridwen Lloyd-Morgan, Editor of ‘Gwen John: Papers at the National Library of Wales’ and former Archivist and Head of Manuscripts and Visual Images at the National Library of Wales, to get a sense of Gwen John’s reality.
