Friday Night Global mix from Closet Yi

Friday night Global mix: the sounds of Seoul, South Korea from rising artist Closet Yi. She recently released her 'Simmer' EP, written in the volatile summer of 2021.
She emerged from the Seoul underground and in March 2019 participated in the compilation album act with her organic rave track ‘murumuru palm tree’ in Honey Badger records. She's since released on London based label ‘No Bad Days’, Curving Track, again on Honey Badger and most recently on Hotflush. There have also been remixes for DJ Seinfeld and Anfisa Letyago.

Friday Night Global is a monthly special extended mix whereby a guest gives an impression of how a night out might sound where they live. It's something that’s more than a straight up mix; perhaps we'd be taken to more places across the town/city/area than a normal night, maybe even a backroom or such, to showcase different sonic colours and sounds.
