Prospect Burma
Prospect Burma works alongside marginalised young people in Myanmar, who are living in danger and destitution following decades of conflict and a coup last year. Basic services such as education have collapsed, leaving young people isolated and powerless to stop their communities’ downward spiral. Prospect Burma helps them access education in fields such as medicine, engineering and agriculture so they can tackle the challenges their communities face.
Aphie’s story

Aphie (left), grew up in a village with no medical care. Prospect Burma supported her to become a qualified nurse. She has since trained hundreds of local healthcare volunteers, who treat thousands of sick people and save lives.
One person can help thousands of others

Prospect Burma helps young people with great ideas, who just need support to gain the skills to carry them out. People like Kyaw Myo Lwin (left), who restores mangroves which help protect wildlife and thousands of people from sea flooding.
Restoring a nation

Armed conflict is destroying Myanmar’s under-resourced communities. Prospect Burma helps Myanmar’s young people study and equip themselves to build their communities’ resilience and long term future.
