Julie and Toby’s Castle Turret

The tiny two-floored building may look like a turret on the outside, but on the inside it’s a bland office and storage space that couldn’t be less regal. Simon enlists top carpenter Ian Tsang to create a panelled room that can be the backdrop for Simon’s incredible upcycled medieval headboard, while designers Verity Coleman and Sophie Dunn create some very heraldic window dressings and reflect on ways of adding a slice of bling using gold leaf.

Inspiration comes from a trip to The Conker, a spherical copper-coloured glamping pod in Newbridge-on-Wye in Wales, where owners Anjana and David have created the ultimate in luxury and relaxation for their guests.
