Unsah Malik left her thriving journalism career, working with the likes of Elle Magazine and the Guardian, to become a social media strategist and best-selling author during the pandemic. In her spare time during lockdown she wrote SLASHED: The Ultimate Social Media & Influencer Marketing Guide, in which she shares her top tips and clear strategies for successful branding. She discusses how she got into journalism as an intern and how she flipped her career to what it is now.

This week's 60 Second Career comes from Jaya in Birmingham, who is a full time architect technician and also runs ‘The Prynt’, a bespoke gift and print business selling on Etsy. She was inspired to make Sikh inspired wedding gifts after struggling to find presents for weddings herself; she decided to make her own and now has a successful brand and sells her products internationally.
