Joy Crookes performs live from Maida Vale for Radio 2's Piano Room Month accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Joy has just released her latest single 'Trouble' taken from her Top 5-charting debut album Skin. It follows the critically acclaimed When You Were Mine that featured on Radio 2's playlist last year.

Joy was nominated for the Rising Star Award at the 2020 Brit Awards and has recently finished a sold-out UK tour that culminated in two shows at the Kentish Town Forum to celebrate the BBC at 100. She was last heard on Radio 2 in October 2021 live in session with Jo Whiley and is about to return to touring with a series of European concerts. Her piano room set features Feet Don't Fail Me Now, When You Were Mine and a brooding cover of Nancy Sinatra's Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down).
