Fishing

This week, the candidates are summoned to the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich for their briefing by Lord Sugar. Here they learn that they will be entering the choppy waters of the fish business, sourcing a catch of the day and creating a fish dish to sell to the public. They will also be selling to a major corporate client, with the team who nets the biggest overall profit winning.

Half the team head down to Cornwall and must find their sea legs whilst fishing for their chosen catch of the day. Could a poor sales patter leave them in treacherous water? The other half of the team stay in London to tackle a top corporate client, convincing them to buy into their fish produce, but one team are left floundering after making a costly error.

At the food market, competition is tough between the stalls as they sell their fishy fare to the public, but bad businesses decisions and poor planning means one team’s chances of winning sink without a trace.

In the boardroom, the sharks are out, and Lord Sugar sets one member of the losing team adrift, as they are told, You’re fired!
