Children of The Snow Land

A moving film about a group of children born in Nepal's Himalayan mountains who at just 4 years old are sent away by their parents to school in Kathmandu, in the hope that education will give them a better start in life. For over a decade they have no communication with their parents. They return to their families as teenagers, having been exposed to life in the city with all its modern conveniences, whilst their parents still live traditional lives in remote villages. This is a unique and touching coming of age story filmed in one of the world's most epic landscapes.
