Questions are being raised about the Prime Minister's handling of allegations that Downing Street staff held a Christmas Party last year, despite covid restrictions. Mr Johnson told MPs yesterday that he was furious when footage appeared of staff members joking about the party and has ordered an investigation to see whether rules had been broken. The senior government advisor and former spokesperson for the PM, Allegra Stratton, apologised and resigned.
