Johnny’s getting snappy while Hazel has it all worked out.

As Kirsty helps out in the dairy, she and Susan chat about the Mysteries and the shortage of extras. Susan’s still terrified at the thought of arriving on horseback and forgetting her lines from fear. Kirsty suggests Susan puts forward her idea for Lily to ride in instead to Lynda. They’re interrupted by Johnny, looking for subjects for his Christmas card photo. He takes a picture, hairnets and all, of all three of them, and hilarity ensues. Kirsty takes the opportunity to ask Johnny to be an extra, but he declines. He takes another snap of Susan connecting some yoghurt pipe equipment, which she hates. She demands that Johnny deletes it.
As they prepare for the arrival of Hazel at the flat, Tom warns Natasha she takes no prisoners. They need to be on their best behaviour. Hazel finds the entry stairs steep, but enthuses at how lovely they’ve made the flat. She reiterates how at home she feels in Ambridge, and Natasha agrees it’s worked its magic on her too. After some more flattery Hazel drops her news. She’d like them to leave, as she intends to live in the flat herself. Natasha’s aghast – they can’t possibly move house now, she’s just relocated her business. Hazel’s sorry, but she needs the flat while she waits for her next property to be ready. And she’ll keep it as a haven for R and R in the future. Tom and Natasha have two months in which to vacate.
