From Charlie Parker to Stravinsky.

The Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts shares his castaway choices with Sue Lawley.

Charlie joined the fledgling rock band of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Brian Jones in January 1963.

Watts helped them become one of the bands who took rock 'n' roll to the masses in the 60s with classics like (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Get Off My Cloud and Sympathy for the Devil.

Charlie shares stories about his life out on tour, his fastidious nature as well as his love of all things stylish.

First broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in February 2001.
