Gabby Logan presents live coverage of the Great Manchester Run, with Morocco’s Soufiane El Bakkali leading a competitive field in the men’s race.

The 25-year-old claimed the Olympic 3,000m steeplechase gold in Tokyo and will go head-to-head against two of Britain’s finest in Ben Connor and Chris Thompson.

In the women’s race, British Olympians Eilish McColgan and Jess Piasecki will do battle in the race to be crowned champion in what also promises to be a fascinating encounter.

As always, the stories of those behind the elites is as compelling as the race itself, with thousands taking on the 10km and half-marathon routes to raise money and awareness for good causes.
