"I'm not a tie person!"

"The ties that I have, you wouldn't use to hold up your trousers!"

"When you are tying a tie," asks Joe in Loughinisland, "do you keep the skinny bit six to eight inches below your chin, then flick the fat side around the thin side? I can never get it right."

"I don't think I own a tie," Sean says. "If I do have a tie, it's not the sort of tie you would be seen wearing in public. I'm not a tie person, and ties that I have, you wouldn't use to hold up your trousers! The only knot I know is the Windsor knot."
