Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce edged out Brit Dina Asher-Smith in the women’s 100m race two years ago, and a similarly star-studded cast is expected here. Meanwhile, American track superstar Noah Lyles set a 200m competition record in 2019.

Norway’s Jakob Ingebrigtsen – the youngest of three talented brothers – will compete and is looking to break records in the 3,000m, while Swedish supremo and world record holder Armand Duplantis is the headline act in the pole vault competition.
