The Gell Family

Jo and Melanie are in North Yorkshire with a family whose spending is more than just a habit. A year after getting married, childhood sweethearts Charlotte and Chris discovered they were pregnant with twins. However, the twins were born six weeks premature and immediately taken into intensive care. Fortunately, after 12 days of hospital care, they were allowed home, but the stress left the couple dealing with anxiety.

To cope, Charlotte has turned to shopping, while Chris has taken to cycling. However, these pastimes are costing the family dearly, and if they are to get on the property ladder and out of rented accommodation, they need to make some changes.

Also, a group of school children give four scooters a good go round their playground and vote for their favourite; and can the Great British public spot the priciest and cheapest gin glasses in a line-up of four?
