Second Round Highlights

Eilidh Barbour brings you every twist and turn from the second round, with the Open being staged at Royal St George’s on the Kent coastline for the first time in a decade.

With the event cancelled last year because of the coronavirus pandemic, the defending champion from 2019 is Ireland’s Shane Lowry. Back then, he shared the lead with American JB Holmes at the halfway point, while multiple Major winners Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson all missed the cut.
