Episode 6
Newbie Irita Marriott brings Latvian flair to the game as she takes on Tim Medhurst in a sporting tour of the antiques emporia of Lincolnshire. One expert has a brush with the law.
Tim Medhurst is joined by first-time Road Tripper Irita Marriott, who brings a touch of Latvian flair to the proceedings as they motor through Lincolnshire. As they get to know one another – and their bright yellow 1970s sports car – Irita demonstrates an interest in animals, scooping up antiques featuring a bulldog, a donkey and a mouse before feeding a fish supper to some real life seals at a sanctuary.
Not to be outdone, Tim displays his fondness for bees by pulling off an impressive rescue. Our familiar face also has a brush with the law, following the story of the first warranted female PC, Edith Smith. After a display of good behaviour, he’s released in time to rendezvous with his new accomplice and head to the first auction of their trip. Will the rookie Road Tripper make a profit at the Northumberland auction?
