Pip drops a bombshell and Freddie has an admirer.

Ruth listens sympathetically to Pip’s woes with Rosie. But Pip feels things won’t be so frantic now she’s quit the rewilding project. She assures her mum it’s not purely because of her falling out with Rex. It makes sense with Brookfield’s dairy expansion plans on the horizon. Then Pip asks if Brookfield should withdraw their Oakey Bank field from the rewilding project now she’s not involved. Ruth doesn’t think the project will succeed without it.
Stephanie Casey visits Lower Loxley to taste the wine. Her chat with Elizabeth is revealing about Vince and his family. Vince helped Stephanie choose her dress – they are all a bit wedding mad. Freddie has to hold the fort with Stephanie while Elizabeth deals with a maintenance job. Stephanie flirts with Freddie and they realise that they met at the 2017 Isle of Wight Festival.
Phoebe rants about Pip’s swift exit from the rewilding project to Rex. She’s keen to carry on without Pip but Rex isn’t sure they can keep going without Pip’s expertise. Rex wonders if he should be the one to leave and also brings up the question mark over Oakey Bank. Phoebe thinks they should keep quiet about it until Pip has calmed down. Rex visits Pip anyway. Their exchange feels formal and business-focused. They come to an interim agreement over the field, and that’s all there is to be said.
