Tweet Take 5 : Winter Thrushes

Almost as soon as the summer visitors head back to Africa, then the skies above Britain are enlivened by thousands of winter thrushes from Scandinavia and Europe. The arrival of flocks of redwing and fieldfare enrich the winter countryside, their calls echoing through the quiet landscape.
