Festival in a Van - Gemma Tipton’s solution to bringing live performances to your door during Covid 19.
Belinda O’Neill from Banbridge chats to John about the success of her inspirational poem writing “Be Inspired to Be” and how it became a form of self-therapy during challenging times, leading to a global monthly reach of over 1.5 million. John goes out and about to Groomsport Beach to meet Andrea and Graham Gannon to find out how their love of the sea has led them to set up a business to share the health benefits of our sea greens. Author and artist John Farrelly from Newry talks about his new children’s book “The Celts” and how Irish history isn’t boring, it’s deadly! Country music legend Brendan Quinn has released a new single “Will We Ever Be Free” and tells John how the song takes a look at lockdown from the perspective of the over 70’s; John asks writer Gemma Tipton about the success of her arts initiative Festival in a Van and how she’s successfully bringing live performances safely to small audiences across Ireland and resident chef Paula McIntyre cooks carrot and potato cakes, carrot jam, fried egg, onion yoghurt and smoky seeds.
