Also today - Shaun continues ROCKTOBER as we celebrate the world of ROCK with a brand new song form AC/DC taken from their new album Power Up which is the band’s first new music since 2014 and sees the lineup of Angus Young [lead guitar], Brian Johnson [lead vocals], Cliff Williams [bass guitar], Phil Rudd [drums], and Stevie Young [rhythm guitar] reuniting.

Matt Everitt joins with the Music News which takes an in depth look back at the life and career of Eddie Van Halen the revered guitarist and co-founder of rock band Van Halen, who has passed away at the age of 65. Kiss singer Gene Simmons remembered him as a "Guitar God", while other stars likened him to a modern-day Mozart.

All this alongside a 3rd play of our Liked and Shared track of the week, Shaun has a track from today’s Album of the Day and GoldSoundZ kicks off the show with 30 minutes of 6 Music BANGERS!
