The soul singer Aloe Blacc joins Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad to talk about his new album 'All Love Everything', becoming a Dad and standing up for what you believe in.

Reverend Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad present uplifting stories about life, love and modern spirituality, alongside a great soundtrack for your Sunday morning.

Their guest this week is Aloe Blacc. The 'I Need A Dollar' and 'Wake Me Up' soul singer talks to Kate and Jason as he releases his new album 'All Love Everything'. His first since becoming a father, Aloe talks the love for his family that drives his new record and how he's found life as a musician under Covid-19. Born in California to Panamanian immigrants, Aloe talks about the music that inspired him from salsa and merengue to Hip-Hop, folk and soul. And he discusses the causes that he's passionate about, from ending police violence in the US to supporting migrant and low-wage workers.

Plus BAFTA-winning writer, film-maker and martial arts trainer Geoff Thompson shares his emotional story of forgiveness and redemption. He's a man that has lived many lives, after childhood abuse tipped him into an adulthood of violence and depression. He tells Kate and Jason how he became a best-selling writer, and a huge influence in martial arts, but more importantly, how he learned to heal, forgive and make peace with himself and his past.
