Soldier

Dom joins the US Army’s First Armoured Division at Fort Bliss, one of the largest military bases in the USA. Nicknamed ‘Old Ironsides’, the division has a proud history dating back to the Second World War and has fought more recently alongside British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Dom’s mentor is PFC James Loper, a cavalry scout and armoured reconnaissance specialist with 18 months service under his belt. They travel into the desert to join the Iron Brigade on Operation Strike Focus, a month-long field exercise testing the combat readiness of troops and their weaponry. Training alongside conflict-zone veterans, under battlefield conditions, how will Dom cope under fire, and can he cut it as a soldier in the US Army?
