Steven Osborne

As part of BBC Arts' Culture in Quarantine initiative, Scotland's most distinguished pianist Steven Osborne performs Schubert's last piano sonata live from City Halls, Glasgow, in this first series of concerts since lockdown. This Sonata D960 completed only two months before the composer's untimely death is part of a triptych of sonatas interconnected by thematic references and reflections on some earlier songs and piano works.
