Jan Ravens and a surprisingly wide array of famous co-presenters help to explore radio's long history of self-parody.
The history of radio's ability to parody itself goes back almost to the birth of the medium - from news, current affairs, drama, the arts, phone-ins to investigative journalism.
Jan is joined by a truly exceptional range of favourite radio voices, including Charlotte Green, Sue McGregor, Winifred Robinson and Ruth from The Archers, who collectively explore why radio is best for parody, plus its important role in our society, perhaps today more than ever.
In the first of three programmes,, Jan Ravens and her roster of celebs are joined by the distinguished radio critic, Gilllian Reynolds CBE.
