Four Meats

Ben is surprised by a call from his ex-wife, Rebecca. Daughter Mia, away at a school camp, is sick and needs collecting. For the girl’s first stayover at the shared house, he cooks paella and has Liz rally the others to turn up for the meal. Mia, unhappy rather than ill, prefers not to mingle, and eats in Ben's room. When she eventually joins the others, she promptly throws up. Heather harries Ben into practical parenting, then Ainsley and Harry suffer debilitating diarrhoea, and Ben succumbs too. Ben learns why Mia quit camp, but she expects information from him in return. The next day, Rebecca is angry to hear what has transpired, and Heather furious at Ainsley’s relapse with Lachlan. The housemates have a decision to make on a replacement resident.
