The World Indoor Singles title has previously been clinched by such greats as Alex Marshall, Paul Foster, David Bryant, Tony Allcock, Richard Corsie and Andy Thomson.

There were emotional scenes on the rink at Hopton-On-Sea 12 months ago as Scotland’s Stewart Anderson claimed the title for the second time.

The day’s finalists are eager to join the illustrious roll of honour.
