Barra Best swaps his day job as weather presenter to make his way along the River Bann, meeting along the way some of those who live, work and play on Northern Ireland’s longest river. He reaches the point where the Upper Bann flows into Lough Neagh, going native with a group of hardy open water swimmers and trying his hand at water skiing. Finally he takes his dad on a fishing trip with some of the best at the sport in Europe.

With beautiful landscapes brought to the screen through aerial photography, this series provides a unique window on life along the River Bann.
