Victims of historical institutional abuse still don't know if a bill to compensate them will become law before parliament dissolves next week.
Victims of historical institutional abuse have written an open letter to the Prime Minister Boris Johnson begging him to ensure a bill compensating victims is passed into law before the Commons is dissolved. The issue was raised in the Lords yesterday and again before MPs last night. A decision has yet to be made.
