Youth Business International is a global network of expert organisations supporting underserved young people to turn their ideas into successful businesses. We work in over 50 countries around the world - transforming lives, creating jobs and strengthening communities.

What we do
We provide young people with a holistic package of support including training, mentoring, and access to finance. In 2018 we equipped over 93,000 young people with entrepreneurship skills. 70% of the businesses we support are still trading after three years.

Tahmina (whose story you hear in the appeal) had a difficult start in life. However, with support from YBI member in Bangladesh she has built a successful, eco-friendly fabric business. She is committed to creating opportunities for other young women.

Kerron’s story

Kerron’s story
Kerron saw an opportunity to supply affordable fruit to customers in distant areas that others didn’t reach. With support from YBI member in Trinidad and Tobago, he has grown his business and is proud to be promoting healthy eating across the country.
