MLAs paid almost £15M since the collapse of Stormont. Is it time to stop their money?
It has been revealed that almost £15m has been paid to MLAs in salaries since the collapse of Stormont.
North Down MP Lady Hermon has told the Commons it is "unsustainable and indefensible" that MLAs get their full salaries while "schools and hospitals are under so much pressure".
Stephen spoke to Alan McQuilan, who was a former member of the panel that used to set MLA pay and former SPAD Brendan Mulgrew.
