Anne Griffin is the author of the Number One Irish best-seller 'When All Is Said'. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous publications, including The Irish Times and The Stinging Fly, and she was recently the awarded the John McGahern Award for Literature.

This is her first story for BBC Radio.
