Kate's Story

At the age of just 30, Kate was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia (APL) and entered rounds of gruelling treatment. Kate has kindly given her support to this Appeal and you can hear her story.
Your Impact

Each year, we support thousands of leukaemia patients, their loved ones and the healthcare professionals who treat them. Our services range from information provision for patients to the training of healthcare professionals to spot the signs of leukaemia.
Meet Angie

The Leukaemia Care help line is manned by haematology nurses and Leukaemia Care staff to provide comfort, advice and support at the end of the telephone and over instant messaging services. Last year, over 1,000 people affected by leukaemia rang to speak to one of our nurses.
