Patrick is 55, and has been openly gay his entire life. He’s never attended Pride as he wouldn’t want to face the protestors, having suffered homophobia since childhood.
John is attending Pride as a protestor - he believes you should love everyone as a human being, but that homosexuality is wrong.
At 16, Hannah is attending her first Pride with a group of people who love and accept her for who she is.
