It is the morning after Zak’s boat went missing with Zak, Ike and Steve aboard and the whole of the town is out searching the sea and beachfront. Meanwhile, Jan has gone into labour.
The occupants of Zak's wrecked fishing boat - Zak, Ike and Steve - are missing at sea. The town mounts a huge search-and-rescue operation and George feels compelled to help, but knows he also needs to be at the hospital where Jan is giving birth to twins and he could be the father - but so could Zak or Steve. Big Mac holds the fort for George at the hospital and tries to protect Jan from the news that Zak and Steve are missing.
Meanwhile Shay feels helpless in the search for Ike, heartbroken that the last time they spoke, they argued. As always Ollie is hanging around to comfort Shay but Siouxsie has other ideas.
