Alistair takes a walk down memory lane and Natasha leads the charge

Natasha tells Helen about the vlogger she’s booked to do cookery demos at Open Farm Sunday. It should give a good push to the farm shop and Bridge Fresh. Helen’s grateful for all the work Natasha has put in, even if she can be a little bossy. Later, Bert brings his wooden cow over to Bridge Farm for the milking games. He’s also made a giant snakes and ladders and Emma has made floral bunting. Bert thinks Bridge Farm will look very handsome come Sunday.

An exhausted Ed tells Emma about the accident he had in the van last night. If he hadn’t been so tired, it wouldn’t have happened. He tells Emma he’ll have to give up the delivery jobs for Tim. His mind’s made up.

Alistair’s sister Fiona has arrived with a bagful of old photos for Jim’s ‘not party’. They head to Grey Gables to sort through them. The trouble is, Jim’s behind the camera in most of them. Alistair remarks how distant Jim was when they were growing up, particularly after their mother died. It’s only since his divorce that they’ve become close. Jim’s been a real rock. Tomorrow’s celebration will show Jim how much everyone appreciates him.
