Some big names in sport, education and politics in Northern Ireland have signed an open letter in the Irish News today - aimed at the British and Irish Governments, calling for an Irish language act. It's been put together by the grassroots campaign for an Irish language act, An Dream Dearg. Stephen spoke to Ciarán Mac Giolla Bhéin, a spokesman for the group and the political commentator Nelson McCausland.
Also on the programme, an event takes place in Belfast calls for an end to physical punishment of children. Could smacking kids become a thing of the past?
