RHI boiler owners face further huge cuts to their subsidy payments under proposals by Stormont civil servants

Renewable Heat Incentive payments to boiler owners here have gone up in smoke.

Under new regulations announced yesterday, annual subsidy levels for the most common type of boiler will fall from around £13,000 to just over £2,000.

Those who signed up to RHI, after being giving assurances from Arlene Foster that the payments were guaranteed for the life of the scheme, are not happy.
