Last year, John Higgins won a record fifth Welsh Open title with a 9-7 victory over Barry Hawkins in the final. This afternoon, the first eight frames are played in the best-of-17-frame final. Ian Hunt introduces live action from the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff.
