Knife Crime
Anyone over 12 years of age suspected of carrying knives could be given Crime Prevention Orders to get them off the streets. Will this help solve the problem?
The Home Secretary has decided that anyone from the age of 12 - even suspected of knife crime involvement whether or not they’re caught actually with a blade, can receive a Crime Prevention Order. Breaking an order is punishable by up to two years in prison. Is this justice? We’re talking about knife crime.
