MPs have been told that a 12-year-old victim of sexual assault in Northern Ireland had to travel to England under police escort for an abortion. That's the shocking revelation from Dawn Purvis, the former director of the Marie Stopes pregnancy advice service in Belfast. She was giving evidence to the Commons Women and Equalities Committee during its hearing on Northern Ireland's abortion law. Ms Purvis said that an officer had also seized samples from the procedure as evidence.
Also on the programme, a newly confident and assertive nationalism. Is that how you saw Saturday's Beyond Brexit event in Belfast? And what did you make of the border event at the weekend where a fake wall was knocked down by the Sinn Fein leadership? Amateur dramatics or a worthwhile anti Brexit demonstration?
And is it time for your councillors to get a pay rise? At present there are over 450 of them in Northern Ireland - each getting £14k a year, plus expenses. But should they get more?
