Lily’s decided not to visit Freddie on Friday. She’s gutted, but she’s too busy with Deck the Hall. If she stays, then Elizabeth doesn’t have to miss out again. Kenton’s very impressed with the way Lily has taken on the responsibility. But he’s keen to make sure they hire a new manager soon, letting Lily return to uni. Kenton reveals that he knows about Russ. Lily’s feeling guilty about leaving him for so long. Kenton points out that he’s an adult – he ought to understand. Lily defends Russ, pointing out how much he’s given up to be with her. Kenton thinks Russ should’ve known better – Lily was his student. Shocked, Lily realises that Kenton reported them to the college. She storms out.

Fallon’s working on the Canterbury Tales costumes. Susan gets the wrong end of the stick when Harrison arrives for a fitting, and leaves him and Fallon to their lunchtime tryste… Harrison encourages Fallon to include a scarf given to her by Nic on a costume. They agree that Nic would have liked the idea.

At Berrow, Justin asks Neil to keep him updated on the impact of Hannah’s innovations. Justin’s considering giving her a bonus. Neil moans to Susan, but Susan gets bad news of her own. Kefir production is being stopped, but she won’t be demoted without a fight!
